Small Bites, Big Legacy

Help us sell 1,000 bags of Sweet Potato Granola and grow a sustainable business rooted in heritage and built for consistent distribution.

Viola’s Heritage Granola isn’t just a snack — it’s a stepping stone.

This campaign supports the next stage of our business: selling 1,000 bags direct-to-consumer to fund a production run that moves us from small-batch fulfillment to consistent, regional distribution. We’re building a business that honors tradition, nourishes community, and grows with intention.

WHY GRANOLA?

Because it’s simple, powerful, and full of purpose — just like the stories that shape us.

Viola’s Heritage Sweet Potato Granola is more than a snack. It’s a tribute to tradition, made with real sweet potatoes, toasted oats, and Southern spices. Granola gives us the flexibility to reach our community with something that’s:

  • Shelf-stable and easy to ship
  • Versatile a breakfast, a snack, a topping
  • Comforting but fresh, with deep cultural roots and everyday appeal

We chose granola because it allows us to grow intentionally by producing at scale, preserving quality, and building a business that can stretch beyond New Orleans without compromising what makes us special.
WHY NOW?

Because we’re ready — and we’re not waiting for permission to grow.

We’ve:

  • Perfected the recipe
  • Built a compliant production system
  • Sold at pop-ups and grown a local customer base
  • Developed a product people love and ask for again and again

Now, we need to fund a 1,000-unit production run to move from word-of-mouth to consistent regional distribution while staying rooted in our values and powered by our people.

This campaign helps us take that next step: not just toward sales, but toward sustainability. Every bag sold funds more than granola it fuels fair wages, local sourcing, and a legacy worth building.
