Coffee & Calas with Rose Nicaud
Step back into 1800s New Orleans and meet Rose Nicaud, the city’s first Black woman coffee vendor, brought to life through performance and storytelling. You'll fry up traditional calas (sweet rice fritters), sip café au lait, and learn how Black women used food to build freedom — one cup at a time.

Bread, Bonds & Business: Reconstruction Tour

This 2-hour tour weaves together history, food, and resilience — featuring live storytelling, fresh bread samples, and powerful stops that bring the past into the present.

Bayou Road Food Crawl
Explore one of the oldest roads in New Orleans through the lens of food, community, and culture. This progressive tasting tour features Black-owned restaurants, hidden gems, and historical insight from Chef Carla — all wrapped in rhythm, spice, and celebration.

Small Bites, Big Legacy

Help us sell 1,000 bags of Sweet Potato Granola and grow a sustainable business rooted in heritage and built for consistent distribution.

Sweet Potato Granola with a Story to Tell

Rooted in Southern tradition and handcrafted in New Orleans, our granola is more than a snack — it’s a small bite of something bigger. Every bag supports a growing business grounded in heritage, fueled by flavor, and built to last.

What’s the Goal?

Our Goal: 1,000 Bags. One Month. One Big Step.

We’re on a mission to sell, produce, and ship 1,000 bags of our signature Sweet Potato Granola — all by September 2025.

This isn’t just about snacks. It’s about scaling a sustainable, Black-owned business that honors our heritage, supports our community, and grows with intention.

Why Granola?

It’s good-for-you, easy to enjoy, and rooted in using the simple to change our story.
Made with real sweet potatoes, toasted oats, pecans, and warm spices, this granola honors the flavors of our family table while giving us the shelf life and flexibility to grow beyond it.

Why Now?

We’ve done the groundwork — tested the product, built the systems, and grown the following.
Now we need your help to take the next step: funding a full production run that sets us up for long-term, regional delivery partnerships and sustainable business growth.

What You Get
